Instructions

Step 1: Sautéing Aromatics

In a large pot, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds to release their flavor. Next, add the finely chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent. This should take about 5 minutes.

Step 2: Adding Ginger and Garlic

Add the freshly grated ginger and minced garlic to the pot. Stir them into the onions, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter.

Step 3: Incorporating Vegetables and Broth
