1. Masala Chai

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons black tea leaves
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1-2 green cardamom pods (crushed)
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • 1-2 cloves

Instructions:

  • 1/2 cup water or milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine yogurt, water, sugar, and cardamom powder.
  2. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  3. Pour into glasses and garnish with nuts before serving.

3. Jaljeera

Jaljeera is a spicy and tangy drink that is often served as a refreshing appetizer. Made from cumin, mint, and lemon, it is a great digestive aid.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons cumin seeds (roasted)
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  • 3 cups of cold water
  • A pinch of red chili powder (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend roasted cumin, mint leaves, lemon juice, black salt, and red chili powder.
  2. Add cold water and blend again until well mixed.
  3. Strain the mixture into a glass and serve chilled.

4. Thandai

Thandai is a traditional milk-based beverage, especially popular during festivals like Holi. It is infused with spices and nuts, making it luxurious and flavorful.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soaked almonds
  • 1/4 cup soaked cashews
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons rosewater

Instructions:

  1. Blend the soaked almonds, cashews, sugar, cardamom powder, and rosewater to form a smooth paste.
  2. Mix the paste with milk in a pot and bring it to a gentle boil.
  3. Serve chilled. Optional: Garnish with additional nuts or rose petals.

Aam Panna is a tangy drink made from raw mangoes, ideal for summers. It helps in keeping the body cool and is packed with flavor.
